Creating a working player model in Blender.

I'll just point out that this isn't a tutorial on how to use blender and it's tools but rather a tutorial on how to make it work with the Torque engine and what problems to avoid. I will assume that you know how to model, texture and add bones to a mesh. If you don't, go here:

The player model is a whole chapter in itself and there are many things that can and will go wrong when trying to set one up for the first time:
(One of my early tries, this is a rather odd bug as it usually occurs due to some errors in the bone structure. But sometimes a perfectly fine model can come out like this after export, no need to panic though. It's usually just to re-export the model and everything is fine again)

Now I need some help!!!!
My character is floating above the ground, the feet don't touch the ground. I tried to move the character slightly below the XY plane but my character is still floating.. HELP!!!!!!
