The installer said I need to install the latest DirectX SDK, when I already the latest and Torque3D runs fine.

Odd, running Window2008 with DirectX March 2009 already installed (which is the latest unless they've just slipped out another one...)

maybe it's an issue with windows 2008 - don't know if anyone has tested Torque on Windows 2008.
Also Windows 2008 is more aiemed at beeing a server than a workstation from what i read somewhere - Maybe the DirectX SDK has an issue with Windows 2008.
You are sure you installed DirectX SDK and not just the DirectX redistibutable i assume

even if they had, Torque requires only the March 2009 updatemaybe it's an issue with windows 2008 - don't know if anyone has tested Torque on Windows 2008.

Can't imagine its a big problem, as it all works just a redundent warning.

March 2009 DirectX SDK works on win2008, I was playing with Dx11 hence already having it downloaded and installed. Can't imagine its a big problem, as it all works just a redundent warning.
