Nominate A Resource!

Hey all!

If there are any existing TGE, TGB, or TGEA resources out there that you think deserve to be a stock part of Torque 3D now's the time to speak up!

No guarantees if it will get merged or not... it depends on several factors.

So far i know we've merged swim, crouch, crawl as a mixture of three different resources, a slightly modified version of the ShapeBase AltFire, and the PhysX implementation is a distant relative of Shannon Scarvaci's resource.

What say you?

How about Martin Busse's AlphaLOD I think the fade in and out of objects is pretty awesome with that resource. It also gives a nice speed boost. I'd be handy to have it work on DTS in the groudCover/fxShapeReplicator as well.

tw surface reference; maybe not that, but like the groudCover is setup to replicate things on the painted terrain layer that you pick. Have this functionality for the fxShapeReplicator/fxFoilageReplicator.

while I defiantly agree that some sort of video support is desperately needed I I cannot say that I'm a big fan of obscure formats like theora. Honestly I think flash video formats FLV and F4V are a far better choice than trying some obscure avi format.

@James, theora is hardly an obscure format. It's pretty much the most widely known non-proprietary video format there is.

How about adding out of the box assets such as the 130+ trees pack. See if Matthew is willing to give commercial license :)

Also there has to be many other DTS ready assets out there which could be added.
