Odd display of tree edges

Ive done a whole bunch of things to the settings and also installed the 185.85 drivers.
and now i get this problem. Whats frustrating is that theres no real consistent pattern to this, sometimes its theer sometimes not, ive even tried repeating certain things (distance angle etc) and its still intermittent tho regular

If anybody has any ideas whether theres a setting in the nvidia control panel or a specific setting in torque that this is relevent too, i'd love to know.
