Velocity and and such based ShapeBasedImage animations

Ok.. Hello you guys ive been thinking about this for awhile and now i want some input
I have an idea for shapeBaseImage animations that are based on how the player class does animations.If we were to use onTick and animate walking and runnin animations based on the velocity of the player and also have any other animations in there that shuld be hard coded for proper playback. so in reality we could have the arma and such in the 1st person view and have them animate according to the same principals as the player class.
