Hey! I wanted to know if you can build for Mac on a Windows PC? Do you need a mac to compile torque or any other C++ application for mac? Please let me know.

Thanks

Yes. Do to endien differences between mac and windows, you cannot compile for mac on your pc. It has to be done on the mac. You can however, build your entire game on your pc and use the mac exe and it should work on a mac. The only thing you would have to use a mac for is compiling the exe.

There are no endianness differences between Mac and Windows, since modern Macs use Intel processors. You do need a Mac to compile on if you make any engine changes, though.

Yeah thats true. I'm not going to be able to realease my game for mac though because we have made some "neccisary" engine changes. Without those changes, the engine won't completely support our type of game. Oh well, I don't have a mac, and I don't have the money to buy one. :P

Maybe if I get some money from my game, I can get one to build on. :)

Thanks for the responses guys.
