Mac System Specs?

Looks like since TGEA is going to be Mac friendly that I am going to have to buy A Mac. Right now there are no system specs for Mac on the TGEA page.
I will probably be looking to get a macbook. Need the desk space. Not sure what to get. I want to get off as cheap as I can and wondering if I might get lucky and a new mini will come out that is powerful enough.
Looks like my best option is.
Macbook 13"
2.0 ghz intel Core 2 Duo
2GB DDR3 Memory
160GB hard drive1
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics for about $1300
Any suggestions? What are you guys using? Don't want to work on something that has to chug. This is dependent on me not getting laid off in January so just looking for now to get an idea.
Thanks

My pc box is pretty low end nowadays but is sufficient with my current project and the TGEA demos and such.
Athlon 64 FX
Nvidia 7600 GT
1GB RAM
120 GB HD
120 GB External
I'm not a mac fan as far as hardware. Overpriced in my opinion. Does apple offer upgrade paths?
Thanks.

Basically what I will be doing is porting stuff I developed on PC. So compiling and using text editors mostly I suppose. I would like to be able to run my compiled games at a decent framerate as well as use any supported shaders. Also would be my travel computer too. Probably dual boot.My pc box is pretty low end nowadays but is sufficient with my current project and the TGEA demos and such.

How important is desktop resolution to you? The 13" has pretty weak resolution(1280x800), but you can load spaces up and have lots of virtual desktops. But that still limits you on development tools that are generally meant for higher resolutions. But if you are doing your development on it, you can always buy a seperate display for higher resolutions...
I have a MacBook Pro 2.4GHz, and I run about 90% of the time under Windows XP simply because I don't have a lot of tools under Mac that I actually like. If you are considering dualbooting or even running Parallels or vmWare Fusion to run a windows image, that 160GB HDD drive may begin to feel a bit limited as well. But external drivers will solve that issue.
I still prefer to do all of my development on my home windows workstation, but the MacBook Pro suffices when I have to take an extended business trip.
