Stockmusic.com: coupon for the GG community

stockmusic.com has recently started a music download service - think music content packs. Since I've been an old customer of Sound Ideas - the company behind the project - I've had a discussion with Ron Anthony, who is marketing the new website. I've told him about the GarageGames community, about indie game development.

Finally I managed to get a free music download coupon worth $25 for all the GarageGames community members.

So, all you need to do is click on the url above, register an account, go to your personal page, and enter the following coupon code:

GaraGG3110

This will add $25 to your active discounts page, that you can spend right away. Pretty cool eh? There are about 5200 tracks. Generally, full length tracks cost $20-$25, while broadcast length tracks cost even less.

Have fun browsing the site! And, of course, if you like the service - let them know - either by shopping there, spreading the word, or just dropping a thank you email for the promo code - I'm sure they would appreciate it!

I've submitted this also as a Web resource, but I wanted to let you guys know while it's moderated.

Konrad

Wow everything is $99. Thats a bit pricy when you can go to so many other places and get it much cheaper or even free.

That's a complete CD, I'd say that's a pretty awesome price for 10-20 themes, and 40+ tracks. For some of the CD's, that's the price for more than 60 tracks. I'd say that's pretty cheap. Even compared to other stock music download services.

And please, share any places where you find better than medium quality compositions cheaper, that was my intention with this post to begin with. :)

It's not really a good call for a web resource since it is a temporary discount. The site itself is a good resource, but the deal that they are providing fits more in a forum post than the resource.

You're right David, I'm going to delete the resource. Thank you.
