Maya 2008 Export Issue

Hello All:
I installed the Maya 2008 Exporter located at http://tdn.garagegames.com/wiki/DTS/Maya/Downloading_and_Installing_the_Exporter and I ran the vcredist.exe (which I thought was weird since I have both VS 2005 Pro and VS 2008 Pro installed).
I then loaded my Maya 2008 and went to the plugin manager and selected loaded and autoload for the plugin.
From the shell, I typed in "dtsUtility" and Maya 2008 reported "Function not found"
Am I overlooking something simple? I am running Vista Home Premuim 32-bit (yes, I installed the 32 bit version)
Thanks!

It's funny, I have been trying 3 engines as of late to get stuff imported:
C4 Engine
Torque
3D Game Studios
And I cannot believe the "hoops" I have to jump though to get my art into their engine. Why doesn't the exporter for Maya 2008 HAVE the mel script in there?
Whatever, I hope the engine is better then their support tools.
