A quick clarification here, if need be...

TalentRaspel has been doing a ton of work on the Torque MMO Kit with new features, updating to the latest from Minions of Mirth, cleaning, packaging, etc. Kai is an awesome and motivated coder and a big thanks to him!

If you're interested in developing a MMO with TGE or TGEA, you should definitely check out the Torque MMO Kit. You should also check out TalentRaspel pro services.

Not...yet, anyway. Although there's discussion about a 1.7 port, and that sounds wonderful.

Like to add my voice to Kai's: it would be greatly helpful to host a 1.03 copy of TGEA, please! For now at least, the MMO Kit resource is going to be using 1.03, and those of us who don't happen to have an archive of that on our hard drives would really appreciate a download link to get a fresh install. Thanks!

I wonder how much effort a TGEA 1.7 port would entail...

I know they have moved around a number of the resources, renaming them, deprecated some, etc.

Does anyone know if there is documentation specifying what the analagous methods are named in the 1.03-1.7 matrix?

The guy who worked on the 1.03 port here is working on a 1.7 port currently, I believe. I worked for about a month on porting it over, but I had some issues getting it to play nice with Python and decided to take a break from it for a while. It's definitely not an easy port.

I'm so confused lol.. I'm starting to want to work on a MMORPG and learn a bit of C++

What is the exact download cuz from ur site i saw like 7 kinds of downloads and got confused lol

Bump to re-iterate the request for a 1.03 download somewhere? =) The new 1.7 is simply so different that a lot of older resources (including the MMO Kit) are going to be tough conversions, and a 1.03 download would be a wonderful thing to have available! Please? =)
