Create Configuration file from Maya

When I need to create configuration file before exporting model with animation from Maya, I found there are so many joints and nodes (nearly two hundreds) need to be listed, does that mean I need to list them simple by copying from Hypergraph chart of Maya? It's awful a lot...Is there a way to export all those joints and nodes information from Maya directly?

Can anyone kindly advise? Tks in advance...

I'm sure one could write a mel script that would do this, but that's over my head. Remember that the exporter will default to exporting all joint nodes, so your best bet would be to copy / paste the stuff that you DONT want to be exported.

Hi, Affectworks, thank you for your reminder and suggestion....and yes, I just found the exporter will export all the joints by default, but the stuff that I DON'T want to export are also near to two hundreds...and last time I just awkwardly copy/paste all the joints that I need to export from Maya's Outline list until feeling numb of my hand...thank you anyway..
