Hey everyone.
We finally have a new 1.1 release candidate for testing. If no major issues are reported in the next few days this one will replace 1.0 as the stable release build and we can move on to the next major update.

I tried creating a new project to see if it's just with projects from previous versions, but the result was the same.
It seems almost like the icon itself wasn't written to the system. Of course, that would only make sense if the icon didn't show up inside of the open/save dialogs, but it does.

I had thought that a reboot would solve the problem too, unfortunately when I powered up this morning it was still there. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with reboots after both, but the icons are still missing. I haven't messed with any associations manually. The file associations themselves seem to be intact, torsion projects open with torsion as they should.I tried creating a new project to see if it's just with projects from previous versions, but the result was the same.

After you install Torsion, by default it sets for both - to open the project file and to display icons, so you will need to change the path.
Follow instructions in my post above + additionally do the following:
While in a "Edit File Type" (where you press "Edit..." button), press "Change Icon..." and you will see the message that "File not found". Paste this:
C:\Program Files\Torsion\torsion.exe
into "Look for icons in this file:" field and should be able to see all the icons associated with the torsion.exe file. Choose the one you like (the second in first column is default) and press "OK".

At least the release installer for 1.1.392 fixed the precompile bug.

Thanks bank that did the trick. Hopefully the installer gets fixed so I won't have to do that every time in the future.

OFF TOPIC: What's the status on the TGEA version of the forestPack code? Never got an answer back to my e-mail since the one where you said on October 27, 2007 that you would be posting some firm information within a few days.Think it's been a few days. :)
