Licensing indie for arcades question.

Hi, I would like to ask a question about licensing for arcades.

Here'a the question:

1. In this term:

(b) Licensee agrees to display a full screen, unmodified Torque Game Engine logo for no less than four full seconds in the start up sequence of any game created and released with the Engine.

the logo should be displayed in the start up sequence of the game, right? Regarding arcade games, the games will be started only once at boot up and it will display the attract screen until a coin or more inserted. So, CMIIW, I just have to display the logo once at boot up, right?

Thanks in advance.

Most arcade games cycle through the title and credits screens on a timed basis while idol. I think you may be correct in the technical aspect of the license though not the spirit of it. I, personally, would display it upon bootup and then, just like other arcade games, have it cycle between the insert coin/title screen and the other title/credit screens.

Bullitt,
You are correct. Legally you would only have to display it once at boot.

Of course we always appreciate any extra advertisement so feel free to display it at other times =)

OIC. Thanks a lot. That's made it clear.
