Feature Request: Project-Level Explorer Operations

Torsion allows for execution of Windows Explorer shell commands (like SVN commands) on all folders underneath a project, which is fantastic (thank you guys)! However, my only wish is that this could be done at the "Project" level so that the SVN commands could be run on the project's base folder. This way "top-level" Updates and Commits can easily be performed from within Torsion much like SourceSafe commands from within Visual Studio. Thanks for the great product guys!

I've never looked at Source Safe shell extensions so I couldn't recommend any. The problem is that Source Safe was designed to be its own stand-alone application, whereas something like Tortoise SVN is design to be a shell extension from the "ground up." Basically, I don't know if you're ever going to get a good SourceSafe shell extension.

It would be really nice if the Project had an Explorer menu that was the root of your project so you could perform actions on it, like a Get Latest, or even just an open in Explorer menu.
Also, I have seen everything in the Project View has an "Explore" item, as well as an "Explorer" drop-down. So far as I have been able to tell "Explore" doesn't do anything

Yeah, the two that I have found, SourceXplore and Effective Sourcesafe were released once, and have never been updated again, so they don't have recursive Get Latest support or other features. It would be really nice if the Project had an Explorer menu that was the root of your project so you could perform actions on it, like a Get Latest, or even just an open in Explorer menu.

"Explore" brings up the Windows Explorer on the folder that was selected. At least, that's what it does for me. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working for you. Running Vista perhaps?

Explorer->Explore has that functionality, but not the stand-alone Explore command, though this might be something legacy left in from running Torsion from its Alpha till now. I still have a "
