Too many games for nintendo wii dont know which one to get. You have Zelda?

Yeah. Zelda rocks. Red Steel feels clunky, sadly. I was excited for a samurai game that I could swing controllers around with. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for one done right. Zelda's sweet, though.

What was wrong with Red Steel?

It was short, easy, felt rushed, and clunky. The gun/swordplay was uninspired and felt like a chore to me. It wasn't bad per se, but I wouldn't recommend anyone buying it. It would have been worth it as a $5 rental. Instead I plopped down full price. I really wish that it had been pushed back and tightened up. Then I would have enjoyed it more.

What about Call of Duty 3?

I haven't played it. You might go cruise the GameFAQs, GameSpot, or IGN boards to see what players are saying about it.

The rayman game is great if you like mini-games

I agree, rayman is a lot of fun especially to play with friends and/or family

Yes. I just picked up Rayman last night and it *IS* a lot of fun. Single-player gets old pretty quickly, but then I haven't played a party game that hasn't gotten old quickly without other people. That's the point of a party game: people. Party people.

I still need to get my Wii, definately going to be my most favorite console since the 64.

It is easily the most fun I've had with a console in a long time. The 360's great because of Live Arcade and a handful of fun titles. The Wii is just fun.

Ah well, at least I'm learning some more torque :)

Bleh I wish I could even find a wii not on an overpriced auction. OR, I wish my 360 was not broken so I could play gears. Ah well, at least I'm learning some more torque :)

Check large retail chains like Walmart that work on a first-come, first serve basis regularly (especially tuesdays and thursdays) and you should be able to find one. The Walmart here got their shipment for the sunday launch and another shipment tuesday which they then sold yesterday to get people to come into the store. They had about 30 Wiis and 3 PS3's. But I'm in a crap-back region of Idaho. I'm sure other stores in more populated areas get more. Stores like Gamestop and EBGames are still managing their pre-order lists, so they will call the people on the list before putting them on the shelves.

@ Christopher - Be patient, you'll find one at retail very soon. Any shortage is due to retailers planning their Holiday customer traffic - honest. That's from my friends still working for Nintendo, and not the ones that would give me the "company line". =)

Gears is incredible though, it has a great amount of replay value, and I didn't even get a chance to play mplayer yet.

@Don, yeah, it's just so hard to be patient, I played the wii the other night and it was simply amazing. I just hate the thought of waiting holiday season out till what, January? Ugh give me a break.Gears is incredible though, it has a great amount of replay value, and I didn't even get a chance to play mplayer yet.

It's not out here in the UK and I jumped on preorders as soon as I could, GAME has confirmed that I'll be getting one on release day (8th December in Europe) so I'm certainly looking forward to it! ;)
Just hope I can get through my remaining 360 games before my Wii arrives! ;)

Can't you just order a Wii online and get it delivered as soon as they have stock? It's not out here in the UK and I jumped on preorders as soon as I could, GAME has confirmed that I'll be getting one on release day (8th December in Europe) so I'm certainly looking forward to it! ;)

I wish we could do that! Then at least I could relax about it and not have to waste my time hunting for one.
