V1.5: MaterialMapping: Terrain vs. Interior

Again, I'll preface by stating that I do not attempt to compile and am happy to MOD and script away at things...
Before I purchase v1.5, I have a question that cannot be answered[I think...] by downloading the Demo and being 'driven' through scripted Scenes....
I see that additional sounds for Interior propertyMapping now seem to be included; an array of several of the default indexes are included in the propertyMap.cs script, super-duper; finally interiors have differeing sounds!
Now, here's my big $50 dollar question, does multiple sound files work with terrain now; I never seem to get them with the default SDK?? The script for the terrain only seems to have the default [0] Soft sound working?? Is this true or false? This is a very annoying quirk for an artist/developer without means to compile to work around. Frankly I am not dying for enhanced lighting...and slower FPS; heck I'd rather have the 'simple' things functioning.
Cheers!
[Midway just had a release LAN demo of LOTR latest MP game...nice little event, here in the City-guys from Turbine were nice! They had around 9 desks assembled and networked together in the exhibit space; moving lights and the whole 9 yards]
