@Stevie - I can't seem to find any information about your fantasy character pack. Can you link directly to it? I only see fantasy THEME pack.

There's a post on DevMaster about the pack here

However the direct link in that post comes up with a 404 error.

Over there and possibly Rubes comment here just don't make sense to me. Have you SEEN any MMO's? They ALL have female warriors, some in armor, some bearly wearing anything (night elf) at all going into battle. Sex sells, so having skin showing while wearing armor is exactly what should be put into the game. Besides, if you didn't have sexy looking female characters in your game, then what fun would any of the game conferences be where they bring hot chicks dressed like the video games in? ;)

Hi,

I took the pack down from the site, as i realised i need to do some changes to the characters. One important thing, was that the torso underneath the armour is the correct proportions, but with the armouradded, especially on the female, she began to look wrong proportion wise. Also, this issue of armour not behing on the chest area of the female knight seems to be a problem with people, so i will amend that too.

If you like you can visit the below page and see what you think yourself, but remember.. for the main, this is not a 'live product page' at the moment. Payment can indeed be made, and you can recieve the product, but baer in mind, changes are to be made

@Stevie - don't change her armor at all, or if you do, make sure you have both a fully-covered one and a non-fully covered one available. Look at my last post on the subject, EVERY major MMO, and probably 95+% of non-major MMOs show skin on every female character.

Sorry, just making an observation, that's all.

Also something else i realised. I put too much dynamic lighting in the scene, and the faces look a tad plastic looking.

Ill sort that out and post some better pictures too, when the amendments have been done

Seems like you are really hustling over there at Arteria, Steve. Keep up the great work.

Is it just me, or does the face of the female night look pretty bad? How the hair is, the look on her face...It just looks like she is some deranged lady with fake hair...

If you can't accept criticism you're in the wrong business.

Because you are making money by selling that content.

Not everyone will like your work as much as you do. This doesn't make it bad. My advice to you Stevie would be to just ignore comments that aren't constructive and take note of the ones that are, and use them to improve your products if need be. Don't make sour puss remarks like the one above, it only serves to discredit you, your company and your professionalism.

@Stevie - I'd agree with Tim on this one. Just because someone doesn't have praise and instead offers criticism, that doesn't mean you dont' do a good job or that you should stop. You make incredible buildings, but your human models aren't of the same caliber as your buildings. I think you're are well on your way to making good models, but take what people say and try to use that to improve your work.

Stevie,

As you, I make content packs.
My advice is to make a beta test before the release. Ask a few game developers what they think about your product, and you will be able to fix all the basic problems before the release of your content pack.

Hi Cannon,

Thanks for that. You know, your words are very true. I need to let a small team of testers have the products, and note their crit, and what needs changing. Im so annoyed at myself i didnt do this with this pack.

The website only mentions 4 characters. But your opening post says 5. Is there any information on this 5th character?

I rather love the other packs on your website, this is some really good stuff. The character pack could use a bit of work and it's good to see you are willing to tune it up a bit

This music is great too... looks like I'm gonna need to grab alot of stuff from your site soon :)
