I do not know the laws for local, regional, or international distribution in Belguim. Different areas have different laws. But I would strongly recommend working on your game as you research creating your company and trying to discover the in's and out's of it in your area.

Yes, you will at some point have to register the name. I am a little rusty on how to do it know, but if you go to the SBA website (Small Business Administration) I am sure they have a guide on it.

Monkey Sniff Interactive
Vanilla Bean Software
SuperDuperBerryPooper Games
And then when you get a game under your belt, that's when it's a good idea to get more serious, create your main company name and begin registering your company, trademarks, copyrights logos, etc.
(You would'nt want people to remember your studio name for making such a crappy first game afterall)

For now just create a company name you could care less about. Monkey Sniff Interactive
Vanilla Bean Software
SuperDuperBerryPooper Games

You also wouldn't want to end up with a "oh, yeah, here's our temp name" and then get stuck with it like Toad the Wet Sprocket.

and registration costs way to much for a starter
Cost Eur 675 (829.98 dollar) for 10 year -> only for Benelux(Belgium,The Netherlands,Luxembourgh)
so everyone else can use it outside these countries (logo , name , everything)
( i also read an article on copyright in US an it said that 'what u make u own' and that should do it for now)
This forum is not EURO friendly lol
Dollar $$$$$

Choose something that incorporates what you do and what youre good at. I am good with art and graphics so my companies name is Mr. Graphics. For a game name just choose something that hasnt been used before :-) and makes sense. I'm making a kind of team target assassin game called Crosshair. If i called it something like dasquiggleband that would just be retarted.
