Max2dtsexporter - Plus? Or No-Plus?

Is the max2dtsexporter that is generally available (this one)compiled with the "plus" source files (in the "max2dtsExporterPlus" folder) or with the sources files in the "max2dtsExporter" folder?
I'm investigating an issue with exporting edited normals.
From what I can see, the non-plus "max2dtsExporter" calculates the normals on export. While I've heard a rumor that the "max2dtsExporterPlus" queries the normals from Max.
I don't have the 3DS Max SDK, so I can't build either exporter. So I have to ask and hope somebody can help.
Thanks in advance.

I know that the exporter that Matt Summers is working on for 3DS Max uses the Plus SDK, unfortunately this build is in a pretty early alpha state and isn't publicly available.
