GG Web Site has become a mess
by Carpenter Software · in Site Feedback · 04/30/2006 (3:37 pm) · 11 replies
During the last several days, the GG Web Site pages have become rearranged where the banners and pages do not align correctly as they did before. Under Products in the Product Store for example, some pictures align far to the right where I cannot see them. On other pages, the GG banner aligns far to the right as well. I am presently using a Mac. So what is going on?

It's looking fine for me, under Opera 8.

I've noticed the same thing. If you click on the developer tab and go to torque game engine, you have pages overlapping so that you are not able to access the documentation. If you go to the torque 2d game builder page after you sign in, the link to the private forums is now gone.

Please post all links which exhibit this problem here so I can verify they have been corrected.

The cropped pages you are seeing are a result of the database upgrade preformed on April 30. The pre-launch testing of the upgrade did not turn up any of these anomalies so this came as a complete surprise to us. I have identified the cause and in the process of patching up the effected database records. Please post all links which exhibit this problem here so I can verify they have been corrected.

I find Opera 8 more comfortable than IE7, but thats my preference.

Thing that peeves me about both browsers is that when I click the mouse wheel, it is because I want to scroll the page, not open a new tab.
Badguy, I guess your not updating often enough. :)
Alot of the reviews for products such as the RTS Kit are cropped.
As well as the Watched Threads wasn't working. (Not sure if it is now.)
