Dramatic drop in FPS.

There's a dramatic drop in FPS (from about 50-60 FPS to about 4 FPS)
when going in and out of *.dif structures.
There isn't that smooth transition between terrain and interiors as there is in TGE.
Even the Demo level has the same problem.
Why is that?
Anybody?
I have a powerful enough system and video card, so i don't think that is the problem
because even buildings without shaders create the same problem.
PS: When is the next milestone available for download?
Thanks.

In general I think NVidia performance got a lot worse with the April SDK and the latest Nvidia drivers. It's as if they optimized their drivers for some of the later games and hurt performance on other titles. I have seen a noticeable drop with TSE and with other titles such as D&D Online also since updating.

Very odd, which line you using Thomas? I'm using a 6600 here, performance dropped noticably. In DDO for example I had to turn down settings that I had been usign for months because it wast getting too choppy.

You are using a NVIDIA card, right? That is a known issue actually. It will be resolved before TSE 1.0 i think.
Its a problem with the legacy terrain in combination with Interiors i think. It doesnt happen with Atlas AFAIK and it doesnt happen with the legacy terrain alone.
As for the next milestone thing. Cant help you there... actually noone really can since GG is staying quiet on this and they said often enough why that is so :). If i would have to guess i would say around april. Its mostly a bugfixing thing and i think they will merge from MBU and TGE 1.4 in this milestone. Plus some revision of Atlas maybe.
