After logging in, "n/a" is centered below my name. What does this mean?

It means is that you don't have a profile photo uploaded. If you upload one it will show your picture as part of your "badge".

It's not very informative. If you don't have a picture, it should just be blank.

I think he is refering to the primary skill that gets listed right below your name. It defaults to n/a. It should check and not display it in that case. It's on the todo list for today.

Oh, your right. Not sure why I thought it was the picture :)
