STINKS!
I think it's ridiculous how the EA rep is saying this is the best ever blah blah ... there's no competition this year and it's painfully obvious.

Ah good old Road Rash on the Genesis! Those were the days ... oh and you can't forget the Mutant League games. I think Trip Hawkins still ran the company back then though. That guy was cool.

They didn't even DO ANYTHING for this version except for the passing vision and that pathetic "be an NFL star" crap. Idiots are basically buying Madden 05 all over again, just like they bought 04 last year when they bought 05. Everything else is exactly the same unless you count a roster change as a valid improvment. They're charging everyone $50 for something you can download as an update patch on Xbox Live. I told you this was gonna happen. Madden 360 hopefully will be different, and hopefully they have spikes in their cleats this time to keep them from slipping all over the field. -Ajari-

Why compete when you're the only one running the race?
...Excactly why exclusive liscences should be outlawed.

EA found out years ago that they can actually move games with something as trivial as roster updates. They had an excuse way back when we were all playing SNES, but frankly crap like that is the reason they made XBox live. I have no end of respect for companies that actually ADD to their product even after a sale. Ninja Gaiden saw free "Hurricane Packs" months after release! Yet EA can't update a roster? Lame!

Agreed by reading some reviews I think i'm sticking with my NFL 2k5 which is a big thing since I have bought a new NFL game for the last 15 years literally.

Exclusive deals shouldn't be outlawed but I really think that the NFL "dropped the ball" by having their license be exclusive. Quote:I think it's ridiculous how the EA rep is saying this is the best ever blah blah ... there's no competition this year and it's painfully obvious.

What EA VP of Marketing Todd Sitrin really said was, "Consumers have voted with their dollars, and the vote is in -- this is the most exclusive version of NFL Football ever."

It's a misquote. What EA VP of Marketing Todd Sitrin really said was, "Consumers have voted with their dollars, and the vote is in -- this is the most exclusive version of NFL Football ever."

Exactly. Same here. NFL 2k5 still looks a hell of a lot better than Madden 02/03/04/05/06 (all the same game). And in my opinion, plays better than it to.

I for one find it odd that people are willing to pay for familiar names... but maybe thats just because I can't stand most spectator sports to start with :M.

I don't think I've liked a thing EA has done since Road Rash 3 on the Genesis.
