What Airline carrier do you use to get to IGC?

Trying to put together airline discounts for those traveling to Indie Games Con. For those who have attended/plan on attending, what carrier do you use? Does a 5-10% meeting discount we are able to set up matter...or do you find cheaper flights through alternative sites?
Thanks,
Rick

Check out Independence Airline. They often run specials for DC to Seattle or San Francisco for $50 and it is about $50 to get from anywhere on the east coast to their DC hub. Unfortunately, they don't directly connect to the Eugene or Portland airports but getting a commuter flight from San Francisco or Seattle to Eugene is generally fairly cheap. I flew with them from DC to Charlotte at Christmas time and it was hands down the best flying experience I have had.

I'll definately been looking into Independence Airline next time I have the need to fly somewhere.

Not for IGC, but I've used Delta/Skywest through Priceline 2x now flying from Eugene, OR to Newark, NJ and JFK in NYC. My ticket to JFK last winter was $285 and the one to Newark was $340 (with taxes/fees included). I find the name your own price thing through priceline is pretty decent. :-)I'll definately been looking into Independence Airline next time I have the need to fly somewhere.

I'll probably check out Continental, if I can get a cheaper rate with whatever you setup I'll do it though. Sounds like a good plan!

I think this year my "airline" is going to be Amtrak.... Sure it will be a longer "flight" but the cost is only going to be $60 each way... $120 round trip.

Boston-Eugene, I believe I have flown major carriers each year.
I'll fly whoever gives me a discount :)

I use Orbitz and take the cheapest, most direct (try nonstop, but that's hard), and not paid more than 500 any year (this will be my 4th? Has it really been 4 years??).Boston-Eugene, I believe I have flown major carriers each year.

I did the Edmonton to Eugene trip the past few years through Alaska. Decent flight of about 4 hours (with layovers) and around 350 to 400 CDN for a round-trip ticket. I love flying with Alaska and recommend them.Edit: I book through Expedia.

I used Travelocity and got roundtrip flight and hotel for 502.64 USD from BWI (Baltimore Washington Int Airport) last year for IGC. I did that about a week before IGC.

A couple weeks ago was looking up prices for me and my team (four of us total), was getting around 300-350 per person for flight and 1 room, or 350-400 for 2 rooms (expedia - from Phoenix). Any warnings on hotels -not- to book at?(from expedia for GDC we nailed 235 per person, round trip flights and rooms from Phoenix to Frisco)
