Need play testers... again

Hi all,

Well, I've finally got my beta of the RPGCore finished. I'm pretty much done adding features till after the end of month release.
I'm now building the web interfaces for administration and while this is being done I'd really appreciate it if people could log on and play to test the server's functionality.

Oh, for those who are new to this project, it is a FREE resource, planned on being published at the end of the month.

So, if your interested in play testing a resource which handles everything player based in a game,
including AI's please go to www.geeconsulting.net and create a character and download the client. It's a small download, only 12 megs.

Latest changes were :
Changes:
-Datablocks are moved to the database
-AI are defined in the database and spawn correctly
-AI are of a Guard model, will add the feature to allow you to give them pre-defined paths to move around w/
-AI have hate lists... if you attack one it will follow you until you die or it kills you.
-Added another weapon to the list
-Added another player model to the game (Jill)
-fixed a bug where AI's were attacking other AI's

ToDo:
-Either allow AI's to wander or follow paths.. or both
-Add in the Armor DTS's and effects (Thanks Tek0)
-Document document document
-Maybe redo the inventory gui to use slots for demo purposes

So please, log in and test the system.

Thanks again

Vince

Is the agro range and toughness of the guards configurable? Because as they stand now, they are pretty deadly ;)

Good stuff though. I'm really looking forward to the resource! ;)

Yes, you can define each mob via the admin tool, all aspects about them including agro range, hit points, etc. Each mob is unique.

They aren't really that bad. I almost got up the hill and to the bridge before I died. Then I fell through the terrain... :[

Well, at the time I posted that earlier message, there was a bug and the bots were double-spawning (for every one you killed 2 more spawned quickly) - that certainly made it tougher ;)

That's been fixed now. Now they are just plain "tough" instead of "OMG!" :)
