Posting Bugs...

I would like to ask people that before they consider posting a bug in the "Report Bugs" forum, that they are able to at least demonstrate the problem using a minor piece of T2D code that removes, as much as possible, the possibility of it not being a T2D bug. The example code should be able to run in the latest SDK release (without any script/C++ mods).

The reason I ask this is because, unlike other forums, I have to resolve all the posts in "Report Bugs" and recently, I'm spending an extraordinary amount of time simply finding bugs in peoples code.

Sometimes this is inevitable and most of the time I'm happy to help people but I would ask that you at least try to find a trivial piece of code that demonstrates the problem. At least this way, if it is some non-T2D problem, I can determine the problem quickly and efficiently.

Also, people searching for reported bugs have to also wade through posted problems that turn out to be nothing and in the worst case, assume it may be similar to a problem they are having.

The alternative is not following posts to their conclusion, something which I don't want to do.

Just like to add that I do appreciate lots of the bug reports so far and they have helped me resolve lots of issues. It's just that I'm trying to reduce the amount of time I spend resolving non-T2D problems.

Thanks for your help,

- Melv.
