Hi there, wondering if anyone can tell me where i can find some basic tutorials for making flash games. Very new to this, so they have to be for very basic games.

Hi Greig,

This is one of the best places that I know of for Flash tutorials and resources: FlashKit.

Lots of free games, tutorials, source code... everything you need to learn, short of having a good book.

I can send over some flash games so you can watch the code and see how it works... for learning purpose only ofcourse... sadly I don't know c++ but flash I know quite well

I know Flash quite well and all of my knowledge came from the tutorials and actionScript dictionary that it came with. Also the Flash MX Bible is a very good resource if you want to buy it.

Greig- You should check out pushbuttonengine.com. It is a Flash game engine made by some former GarageGames developers. Right now, it may be a little over the head of a beginner, but our plan is to eventually have pathways into the engine that even the newest of programmers can have fun with.
