LightWave [8] Electronic Distribution Starting Next Week

I've just received an email from NewTek stating their electronic distribution of LightWave [8] will begin next week. Finally!

    Chuck Baker of NewTek posted this clarification over at www.cgtalk.com:

    Some people (me included) thought that the electronic upgrade meant a download from the NewTek site. Instead it just meant they would put the LW upgrade on electronic media...rather than clay tablets I suppose! :o)

    I hate it when people ship me updates on printout... it's a real pain to have to type it all in. :(

    That has got to be the stupidest wording i've seen in a long time. WTF are they calling it an "Electronic" upgrade then?

    I'd imagine EVERYBODY thought that. It would actually be moronic to think an Electronic Upgrade would be anything else.
