Rich Ponte Concept Artist for hire.

by Rich Ponte · in Game Design and Creative Issues · 02/17/2001 (4:18 pm) · 8 replies

I was recently laid off from a Software Company, where I was Supervisor in the Web Design Department. I am currently seeking full time employment as a Concept Artist. My resume and portfolio are in my homepage. The portfolio is extensive ranging from Fine Art to Tattoo Design.

As far as talent goes, I have a vast imagination and can multitask with the best off them. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design, with a BFA in Computer Art. The degree program consisted of, Traditional Animation, Web Design, Three Dimensional Animation, Graphic Design, Sequential Art, and Fine arts.

Check out my site and if you feel I have the stuff contact me. I could definitely be a lucrative commodity to any company.

In my opinion, you are not really a "professional" artist

Just as a matter of curiosity, on what would you base that opinion Artur?

Wow, this thread was started over four years ago! I'm curious about this reply as well Artur, and why you chose this as your first post... Ponte seems suited for concept work to me.

@Arthur: Actually, he *is* a professional. He got picked up by a game dev company while he was working with us. Hmm, I should drop him a line....

Why was this thread necromanced just to say someone isn't a professional anyhow?

Thats what I was wondering, hence the question.

I wonder if Artur has been on one of my successful courses "How to win friends and Influence people". Or aptly titled "How to get sacked pretty damn quick".

Wow I just popped back on here randomly and see this...jeez I guess I should quit my job seeing as how I not a "professional" artist. :(

BTW Jerane drop me a line sometime, want to see how things have been going with you and the title. I have some free time may be able to put in some more work on it.
