We will be installing a new database server today at 1pm. Access to GarageGames.com and CVS services will be down for approximately one hour during the upgrade.
In other IT news... we moved our DNS service from our ISP to a 3rd Party provider. This change is making its way through the internet now and most nameservers should be updated by Monday. If you experience any problems accessing the site (except at 1pm today) please send me an email.

I am changing a lot of variables all at once here so I expect it will take a little tweeking to get it all dialed in and running smoothly.

Mucho bigger! Dual processor, gig'o ram and mysql 4. The query caching alone in mysql 4 should make a huge difference.I am changing a lot of variables all at once here so I expect it will take a little tweeking to get it all dialed in and running smoothly.

almost sounds like my linux box at home :) gual 2.4 with 1.5GB RAM and a Solaris multipack (12 - 9GB drives). Do not have the latest/greatest software on it tho :( just Mandrake 8.1 with some minor additions to support cvs/dhcp and samba
