Torque 3d 1.2 Minimap

Has anyone any tips or resources on minimap creation in torque 3d 1.2? i have went through most of the resources on here and cant seem to get any of them to work with 1.2.
Have also tried a RTT function inside the TerrRender.cpp file, but keep getting and access violation error in VS2010. I have an orthogonal camera presumably working correctly in the TerrRender file but cannot see the outcome due to the access violation error

About the author
3 Years developing under Torque 3D and soon going to release a number of products over steam. Sure there has been problems but what development doesn't.
