It's best to use as few materials as possible to keep draw calls at a minimum but the engine doesn't have any arbitrary material limit as far as I'm aware.And there are several people interested in T3D having IFL support. That'd be a great resource.

interested.may be last year i saw a post by michael hall( or somebody else) who successfully added IFL back to t3d 1.2
if so then he can provided more info on it.

You wouldn't happen to have PostFx on would you? A friend of mine reported some transparency problems with it on. Also any update on that IFL resource ?
