Contact Someone Through Forums?

Maybe I'm blind, but I'm looking for a way to contact other members of the Forums. I'm not looking for email address, though that would do the trick, just a way to send a private message to someone else in the forums.

Is such a thing possible?

    There's no PM on these forums. There is an ancient thread for site wish list that includes the request for such a function but I think they had to have the web guy sacrificed to appease the Elder Gods many aeons ago ...     If there was a such a thing I would leave it disabled. If a need to contact someone strays into personal or private considerations and couldn't be addressed through the forums then you really should be using email anyway.

    Click on the user and view their profile. If they have enabled display of their email address (setting in your profile) the email address is displayed when you view their profile. Most I have looked at are disabled but some are enabled and do display

    I usually do a convoluted email address that machines can't read, but people can. Then after a few days I nix it. Just to keep bots from harvesting my email. There is also the IRC channel: #GarageGames on www.maxgaming.net
