Time for a new terrain system

Hey all!
I am currently running into problems with the current T3D terrain system. Have been for the past few days...
Skip ahead to today.
I was linked a awesome terrain system by a friend of mine. It is open sourced under the BSD license.
Here goes the questions -
How much would it cost to get a terrain system like the one I linked into torque 3D? Would any one here use it? and who would want to integrate it into torque?

Here's a screenshot from one of Dan Webbs terrain resources:

You can check out his resources here and here, may help with that.
Tell your friend he's done a great job with those terrain tools. Adding in the novel procedural brush would be superb for the terrain system in T3D.

T3D does use a modern terrain system, it is networked, provides many layers to control bump maps, textures, etc. It is integrated with lighting, physics, etc. Understand changing the terrain is a considerable task. If you can make due with using external tools then it would cost significantly less than changing it out. Then after you move a few titles then you will have the cash flow to invest in a different terrain system for the next title if needed. No matter how you look at it this will be a significant investment to change out. Also, there is a lot of experience built into the current terrain system so keep that in mind.

Most artists at GG find they are more effective with the terrain system using tools OUTSIDE of T3D to create the terrain. So, is it really the terrain system that is the problem or the tools inside T3D? I cannot find a way to apply my splat maps that I made. I can apply them as standard brushes but not as a terrain texture.
Any help would be appreciated on this!
I am sorry that I have jumped the gun on this. I am really frustrated at this point.
