Are You Quick Enough? 2 in Top Ten on the App Store.

Are You Quick Enough 2? Pro is currently in the top ten in the App Store.! I recently ran a free promotion and it is doing great so far. If you haven't tried out the game yet, give it a try. Would greatly appreciate a rating too!

    @Scott - The game rose to top 160 all apps without any promotions, at that point I used FreeAppADay and AppRewards at the same time and got all the way to number 4. Both campaigns don't have any stats on downloads so it's hard to say.

    Another interesting observation from my app is this time it only did well in the U.S and Canada and did poorly everywhere else.

    Did you originally release it as free or was it released as a paid app and then switched to free?

    @Tim - The game was always a 99 cent app and that was the first time switching it to free. I think that was a big key to why it shot up the rankings.

    @Johnny, thanks. Gonna give them a try anyway, I have noticed that our recent xmas releases have rapidly exited the charts and the downloads a lot less. Normally you get about 3 days of decent downloads - seems to have evaporated over christmas - i guess there is a lot of apps going through the system.

    @Johnny, switched from paid to free today - not a single site has picked it up in the 'paid->free' feeds :(
    Clearly a bad day to do this - I reckon there are about 10,000 apps with price drops today.

    I also paid for app rewards club for tomorrow and I think that is now a complete waste of money.

    One interesting thing - I set the price to $6.99 and still had 7 people pay to download!

    I'll try again after christmas.

    @Scott - You are right about the traffic around this time. I also noticed more than usual amount of price drops.

    But give it 3 days. Sites don't pick up the price drops immediately.
