Looking for potential team members...

Hello
I'm currently working on my first big project (a space adventure and exploration game made with Torque 3D) and am highly motivated to see this project through to its conclusion. I've been slowly but steadily fleshing out the gameplay concepts, as well as certain story and character elements, to the point where I have a very clear image of what this game will be like. I also know what the art style will be, and how the player will interact with the game world.
What it is
Frontier Reach is an examination of humanity's extra-solar future. It asks the questions 'what would I do in this future? What kind of person might I become? What kind of political and economic environment will this future entail?' It seeks to not only entertain, but to educate the player. It aims to present many different philosophies and ideologies from our history in an unbiased and open-minded manner. Hopefully empowering the player with a new found appreciation for creative and lateral thought.
What it will look like

In-progress character model by Adam deGrandis.
I want to present Frontier Reach as a light hearted, cheesy homage to television shows from the 60s, 70s and early 80s that are set in the "future". Shows like Buck Rogers, Blake's Seven, UFO and Battlestar Galactica, to name a few. The art style will be low-poly "cartoon" graphics similar to that found in Beyond Good & Evil, Team Fortress 2 and (dare I say it?) World of Warcraft. The thing is, it's set in a future envisioned by television producers from the 70s, so everything looks retro.

Logan Blake. One of the game's principle characters.
How it will play
Most of the time the player will be aboard her ship and will play from a 1st/3rd person perspective. At other times she will have a top-down camera and view several characters that form a squad, while playing certain missions throughout the course of the game. I'm also hoping to include some building of structures, a la RTS. Find an uncharted planet with mineral wealth, build a base and upgrade, etc., Then mine it for bling! Careful though, some planets are extremely hazardous.
One reality I want to touch on in this game is that space is boring. Boring and lonely. During long interstellar flights there will be opportunities to kill time with colony management, corporate politics and of course, romance (or at least a Saturday night fling with a saucy crew member!). At its heart though, Frontier Reach is about exploring space and its many exotic star systems and planets. Planets like Voxon IV.

What I need
I need a team. I need to work alongside others (so to speak) who share my love of space games and mature content. I need an enthusiastic team environment to work within because I am a team centric kind of guy. Sure, I can continue to work away on this by myself, but that's hardly fun now, is it? My only worry is that I can't afford to pay anything, although I'm hoping (obviously) to sell this game to at least cover costs. The idea is to get a dynamic and enthusiastic team together so that we can get a decent playable level working with which to pitch on Kickstarter. Anything is possible after that.

So, you've made it this far, and I'm guessing you're interested in becoming involved in this project? Feel free to either drop your contact details, and a little detail about yourself, or email me at psycandygames@gmail.com with as many questions as you can think up.
I have a Ventilo server to aid in group discussions/meetings as well as a private forum to be used in the same manner. I'm hoping this will make any team oriented tasks that much simpler and more efficient. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read my plea for help. I look forward to hearing from some of you in the near future.

About the author
I do terrains. Lots of other stuff too, but mostly terrains. I die in games more often than not because I'm admiring the view.

One area where this game differs is in its lack of 'hostile/invading alien horde'. In Frontier Reach the enemy is human corporations (there are four), and the defenders are all 'hostile aliens'. Ah, the limitless potential of corporate greed!
I'd like to think people will be reminded of those games when playing Frontier Reach, while still enjoying an entirely unique gaming experience.

Thanks Tim. You caught me red handed. This is partly inspired by the aforementioned Frontier: Elite. Good catch there! However it also borrows a little from UFO: Enemy Unknown (aka X-COM).One area where this game differs is in its lack of 'hostile/invading alien horde'.
