It seems that either the patch Ed Maurina did for the water/fog problem wasn't applied, or it was applied and that's what's causing the problems but there seems to be problems where sometimes the underwater fogs disappears.

Looking great guys! :)
Only noticed some minor console errors like various textures not found and the like...
Oh, but one thing is still missing: vehicle sounds!!
would be even more fun to drive the buggy with some cool roaring sounds ;)
Other than that: excellent job!

The editor looks alot more cleaner and simpler to use.

Great job guys, engine is really getting nice, found something, nothing major though.

At the end of the Feture Walkthru, It says Goodby orc town... near the bottom, your missing a "e".

Looks great! notice somethin small. when the orc is demonstrating the crossbow, firing at the rock. The arrow is quite a bit under the particle system. and the crosshairs needs cleanup. rough around the edges. otherwise looking good.

Man this demo kicks so much ass! It's the best game engine demo I've ever seen for any game engines. This was done just perfectly. It makes me proud to be apart of the Torque Community :)

Also just one suggestion you might want to disable the hotkeys for GUI editor and mission/map editor. :)

Ummm.. the mirror doesnt work right.. :)
its fine in 3d view but in 1st person view all you see is the crossbow.. :)
alos if you place a mirror in front of a mirror it greys out..
also when you shoot the mirror it greys out temporarily..
and yes should disable the hotkeys for the editor and gui editor..
but leave it in as a bonus feature.. (like windows bugs) :)

not that the editors are bugs.. :)
otherwise very nice work.. and I really like that you got the lightning sounds to work.. :)
ported them into my game and bam... awesome.. :)

@Tom: The mirror works fine. There is an option to render your own player and it is, by default, turned off. If you look down at the ground you won't see your feet either. It's the same option that prevents that.

WOW! i have always thought water looks bad in 3D engines because there isnt any transition -the water looks great - best looking water i have seen with swells, reflection of sun, sun and corona is amazing and the way the corona/rays cut off when center point is occluded, clouds are beautiful to just sit and watch - all together with great blended terrain you guys have some exciting stuff happenning - thanks for the motivation!

Looks awesome. Nice use of lighting and color, very moody, with the sun breaking though on a stormy day. The sun flare looks a little too saturated to me; personally I'd do less saturated towards the middle of the sun, with it getting more yellow towards the edges. The clouds look great, but maybe the animated clouds are too thick? I only say that because I kept trying to see the skybox sky, but it seemed obscured by the scrolling clouds. I'm sure someone played with those things for days on end, so I almost hate to gripe :)

I disagree with some of the above posters, I think the hotkey for the editor should be in the demo. That's why you buy Torque, to mess with it! And it looks like the editor has gotten a lot better.

I really wanted to run around in the walkthrough level (the one with the scripted camera) but I couldn't figure out how to drop the player onto the landscape. The camera was frozen in place when I entered the editor - maybe that's why people are saying disable the editor? I mainly just wanted to go check out the mirror as a player, and I didn't see a mirror in the playable level. I could probably just place a mirror in that level, but it seems like the purpose of a demo is to put the interesting stuff at your fingertips without a lot of work.

At the end of the walkthrough, where it says "the Torque Engine is a..." I'm feeling the need for a "main menu" button. It took a few seconds for me to find the "home" item in the menu bar. I felt like the cluster of buttons at the bottom of the screen should be enough to get me where I want to go, to the point that I hit the back button and got the "goodbye orc town" screen again. A momentary bout of confusion that made me feel like I wasn't being properly led to the conclusion of the demo.

I like using what feels like an HTML interface within a real-time 3D world. That in itself opens a world of possibilities...

Ok this is my opinion !

To get maximum response i would change this to make this rock
even moore !

Change the water texture to something better !
Put eviromentsounds from water ,torches, trees.
change the shadows inside the bigbulding it was much
better shadows inside when i looked at it in an earlier version !

small things but makes effect !
Maybe i've been a mapper to long ,but these things was my first
reaction !
Othervise it looks really good !

@Tom: The mirror seeing the mirror would cause infinite recurision, and as a rule, that's a bad thing. It used to crash the engine when you put 2 mirrors facing eachother and tried to look into one :P

Whoops, just noticed the line, "post feedback and bugs in the project manager" in Rick's original post :). Off to find the project manager...
