Question before buying.

Okay so me and a friend was looking over some game engines and we've decided to go with Torque, we'll most likely be buying both 2d and the 3d flavors of the engine but I have a few question before we go ahead and buy. I was wondering if we buy one copy can we use it on 2 computers or will we need to buy 2 copies for each program. What we intended to do was I'd buy 3d he'd buy 2 and then if we could them on 2 pcs at once we would just do it like that.
