My only suggestions on improving the game would be to add a difficulty level for younger players and I sometimes didn't realise I was being asked to do slightly different things on game retries e.g. the number of smiley faces to match - dunno if you could make the goal where it varies in a much larger font and different color.
Also, you could hook it up with OpenFeint and Game Center - each mini game completed in an achievement and you could have score boards for the best times.
I see there is a free version - is that in-app purchase to unlock more games?
Otherwise I really enjoyed it and hope the sales go well.

Johnny, great game and a lot of fun! Have left a review on iTunes. My six year old also had a play but she found many of the games a little too difficult - as did I - took me ages to get past the pack of cards! My only suggestions on improving the game would be to add a difficulty level for younger players and I sometimes didn't realise I was being asked to do slightly different things on game retries e.g. the number of smiley faces to match - dunno if you could make the goal where it varies in a much larger font and different color.

Your feedback is super useful as always. I went back and forth on the difficulty level and tried to find a good balance for the age group i was going for. I think it is a little too hard for some people, and putting in an easy mode like you suggested would probably fix that.
Some of my friends had problems with the smiley faces game just the other day. The couldn't understand the instructions. I'm going to change that in an update. Thanks for bringing it up.
The pack of cards is one of the harder ones. It's sometimes unfair too because of the placement of the target card. But I liked the dragging gesture so much that I left the game in there.
The free version just has a link to unlock the full game. Would be nice to do an in app purchase (i've been looking into that). The free version is doing good btw. Averaging about 3k a day. But admob revenue sucks... maybe 4 dollars a day. I'm going to change it to iAds.
I really wanted to do game center but because of time I decided to hold off on it. If there is a big enough demand I'm going to add it in an update.
Thanks, Scott.

Wanted to share that the game is the #1 free app in singapore at the moment, 2 days running. 1st day I got 10k downloads and 2nd day I got 20k downloads. This translated to some people upgrading to paid app and also ad revenues.

Johnny, massive congratulations!!! Any idea why Singapore? Also, did you see any cross-selling for Twistum?

There is about a 200% boost in sales for twistum, but thats not much. Before the cross promotion it sold 0-2 a day. Now it sells 3-4 a day.

Scott, I have no idea why Singapore. Looks like its going to be the #1 free app in Greece too. But I believe the app store in Greece is much smaller. There is about a 200% boost in sales for twistum, but thats not much. Before the cross promotion it sold 0-2 a day. Now it sells 3-4 a day.

Did you get any reviews, something must have driven the downloads in those countries, 30K downloads is very good :)

Just a thought, it might be worth putting the in-app purchase code I posted into a quick update - this way they can unlock within the app. Did you get any reviews, something must have driven the downloads in those countries, 30K downloads is very good :)

I didn't ask for any reviews on the app. Did 0 marketing (bad!). But asking user to review the game has been working out nicely. I get alot of reviews like that.

Scott, I agree about the in-app purchase. That's why I was happy that you helped out with that. I didn't ask for any reviews on the app. Did 0 marketing (bad!). But asking user to review the game has been working out nicely. I get alot of reviews like that.

Johnny, you've done very well for not having any marketing ;-) Hopefully you can leverage those downloads into sales somehow.

Scott, thanks for the kind words. Sales have been averaging around 30-40 a day but has boost up to 80-100 since becoming #1 free app in singapore. I'm hoping sales don't drop off like they usually do in the upcoming weeks. I'll keep you updated.

New to this release is more unique mini challenges, Multi touch support challenges and other crazy challenges.
This was done in a iTGB 1.2/1.3 hybrid. iTGB 1.5 looks mighty good though... maybe for next game.

Love the concept. The art looks really crip. I'm a big fan of fast reaction games for iOS. Big congrats Johnny!

If you haven't grabbed a copy yet, please grab a copy and let me know what you think!

Just wanted to say that Are You Quick Enough is currently ranked in the top 100 free apps. I never thought the game could placed that high in the charts. Now you can make money by having in-app purchases. The app has in-app purchases and currently has about a 1% conversion rate (meaning 1% of the players makes a 0.99 cents purchase). Yesterday I had 25k downloads, so you can do the math. If you haven't grabbed a copy yet, please grab a copy and let me know what you think!

Wow! What can I say :) Are you still converting 1%? Also, any idea on the correlation of downloads to app store position? Keep going Johnny!

U.S. - Rank 52 Top Free - 15k downloads
United Kingdom - Rank 7 Top Free - 20k downloads
Canada - Rank 10 Top Free - 5k downloads
Singapore - Rank 11 Top Free - 3k downloads
I got about a 1.5% conversion rate from the 45k download. but remember it's hard to get an accurate number because one user could have brought in half the revenue for that day.
