Imposter creation fails (Shape Editor) - false alarm

Edit: I filed this as a bug report but I am unable to reproduce it anymore. So right now I suspect that it was due to a mistake of mine at some point. I'll leave the original report here for reference.

Automatic billboard / imposter creation

Issue
When using the Advanced panel in the Shape Editor to add an imposter as a final lod to an object, the usual (Generating imposters) message will push for the fraction of a second and then pop. The files will not be created and the collision mesh (initially a part of the object) will be discarded.

Repeat
Use FPS Example to add an object with a Collision-1 mesh and a detail mesh. Load this into the editor and in the Advanced panel of the Shape Editor, tick "Use Imposters".

Suggest
This is a new bug in Beta 3 - this was working fine in Beta 2. Perhaps a diff will help in finding the problem.

And just to cause trouble ... I haven't had any problems with Imposter generation in B3 - but I've had plenty of issues with Shape Editor and it's detail levels though.

This is weird. I can't seem to be able to reproduce this anymore. It was either a step I did beforehand, or I'm becoming senile.

What to do, what to do... I'll change the title to reflect this and pull this from being a bug report.
