Man, I'm starting to get itchy feet myself... but I'm gonna hang in there for a little while longer, else I'll have to move engines to something more feature complete and bug fixed to the point of being stable for the two games I'm working on. Every week that goes by, add's a month or more to the end of it, as even when 1.1 is released we still have to wait for middleware to catch up, port and bug fix and even then is a 1.1 release going to be stable enough. I hope so.

Look forward to an announcement soon! I'm sticking by Torque, at least for now. Only because we've spent alot of cash and time developing on it, for us to just drop it and move to another engine. Catch 22.

Once 1.1 is out, we can hopefully complete a stable BETA game within 6 weeks, providing middleware catches up. Hang in there.. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

In the history of GG I have heard that many times but never has it panned out.

It took me prolly 30 seconds to write this does no one at GG have 30 seconds to devote to keeping their customers informed?

At least they did stop flaming customers over valid and invalid questions.

It seems like a realistic business is sprouting! :P

Realistic, what is?

And it is TorquePowered now.

As in 'Torque Powered' ad hominem.
'Torque Powered' obfuscation.
'Torque Powered' milieu control.
'Torque Powered' demagogy, but that is stretching it a bit.

I like 'Torque Powered' flaming customers; oh the visualizations. (thanks for the chuckle eb!)

Digress discourse to Ad nauseam, but only because it is so funny, fitting and I am bored with it.

I just hope TorquePowered can poop out a polished T3D turd before AUG11'th because after that date I am away from the things of man and stuck using a very expensive satellite internet connection, that do not allow large file downloads. I would rather not to be forced to wait another 6 to 9 months(before im back in civilization) for a working T3D (or break the EULA and have someone send me a the fresh steaming T3D on a USB drive).

Another Combustibility satisfied "Torque Powered" customer! Good thing he have associates on hand to curb his enthusiasm.

EDIT: this post was edited for a warmer degree of humor...

Its obvious a stunt man. Im sure you enjoy the same great FX when watching a movie, and playing computer games... The above scene is just as 'not real' as most everything else we subject ourselves to in life, less I would have pointed out the tastelessness, and not the savory grilled humor.

I was once shot in the foot! From a gun! Lost a toe! Should i point out how 'not so funny' guns can be every time i am subjected to them in media?

Not having a beef with you Steve, just pointing out a logical fallacy, because i have a compulsive disorder. And i been drinking also...

@ Caylo, I have my reasons - which thankfully I edited out (go subconscious!)

but really, sometimes it's like ruddy 4chan around here ...

I dont even know what 4chan is, other then something famous for its stupidity.

It is a human condition to underestimate ones capacity in attempt with humor to be offensive and vulgar with the sensibility of others. Also the sad puny human mistake of stating jokes that exceed the cerebral caliper of the observing audience. I know not everybody finds exaggerated equivocation syllogism as funny as i do, you would think I could learn to keep such sarcasm to myself.

EDIT: gone off topic long ago on purpose.

I have a perpetually growing list of "DONT DO.." when inebriated rules.

Unfortunately when inebriated it is difficult to see any reason for them.
