Infected BrokeAss Game sites
by Giuseppe Bertone · in General Discussion · 07/21/2010 (3:03 pm) · 6 replies
Looking around for info about BrokeAss Games tools, I noticed two of their sites (www.brokeassgames.com and www.battlefieldtorque.com) have been infected with trojans and malwares. Be careful until they fix this!
If someone has BrokeAss contacts, please send them a poke!

It was Probably outdated SMF forums or vulnerable beta versions of it ... that's what got us before!

Yep we got infected thru the SMF forums. Ari has been working diligently with our hosts and the site code to get it straightened out. We'll post again when we are 100% safe to visit.
thanks again,
Jondo

I can get on the site but have no access to the forums concerning Mack & Fack. Is this going to be fixed soon?

You are not missing anything in the forums. they have all but quit posting anything in them and there is still no update for mack with T3D

Our site has been cleaned, its 100% threat free (according to Google). We still have some issues with the permissions on the site, but you can travel there safely and post messages, at leas in some of the forums...
Oh and P.S.: Just made an update on our status with the mack/fack T3D port here.
thanks,
Jondo
