Problem with ScatterSky and the Shadows

by Alfio Saitta · in Torque 3D Professional · 03/03/2010 (6:38 am) · 3 replies

Playing with the settings ScatterSky unfortunately not yet sufficiently well managed to set the shadows. I'm not sure that this is an issue of settings or a bug. This is the problem that reflected all the time:

Go to options (ctrl-o) and set lighting to high. Additionally, I find a logweight of 0.96 (as in the "deathball" demo level) produces a slightly better result.

If neither of those help, you'll need to post more details.

logweight 0.99 is too high. Use values between 0.91 and 0.97. You switch to 0.99 only in cutscene takes where the camera gets close to a character's face or something like that.
