Plan for L Foster

I think most of you have already noticed that the Material ID Unwrapping tutorial has been given to GG to host.

I hope you Maxers enjoy all the hard work that went into making that tutorial (took about a month of my spare time to write and review/edit) it was fun challenge going from the notes and information that Joe Maruschak had shown me and translating them into something that could be used by almost anyone with a copy of 3DS Max.

On a side note, I am not sure what is up with the Zip download from GGs site, so if anyone wants a Zipped copy of the tutorial and the example files please send me an email and I will get you the file ASAP.

With the tutorial done that means I have no excuses left to give Phil or Pascal in regards to keeping up with production of art assets for our projects. So last night I watched the 'Leafs lose and got pretty far along with the creation of a new model which I am primarily building to show off some "faked" cloth in Torque and a character that isn't wearing 1 ton of armor :)

Hopefully I can have some samples of this new model soon (with any luck I can have it running around in RW by the weekend).

On a final note, I still plan on trying to simulate a Biped system using bones, when I get some signifigant progress into this I will let you guys know because I know that you guys without Character Studio or Max are just aching to find a way to use the default DSQs on your work too.
