And that's a wrap!

It's been a very long time since I've posted a blog here on GarageGames (November 22, 2014 to be exact), and a good number of you might have even thought that I might have just given up on my guide project. Well, today I'm coming here to finally say that after a long journey that began back in August, my final version for my guide project has reached it's finish line.

So where again can you pick this thing up? Well, if you want to hop over to my website, you can grab that here!. As this is my final product I'm making for T3D, I decided that my old statement I made back in November about going back up to $20 would be silly, so I decided to keep it right where it's at, $15.

So, what exactly did the end result turn out to be for this project? Well after typing the last few words on those last few pages I actually scrolled back up the the beginning and caught my glimpse of the front page for what I think will probably be the last time:

It's kind of exciting to put together a monstrosity of a guide totalling 508 pages long, but at the same time, it's a great feeling to have that someone will probably pick this up and find that click they need to launch something even more amazing.

So, after putting the final pieces together I hopped onto my website with great excitement for finishing and lit up my own forums... Kind of silly, but I was the only one going on about things:

But in the end it was all great fun, and placing the final piece of the puzzle on my product system to let everyone know that my work has been completed:

And as I stated in my forums, and in the title, that's a wrap! My work as I see it has reached a final end, and now I can finally set my eyes off to greater prospects, mainly getting back to work on that Galactic 2D thing I was going on about before I got sidetracked into my guide, but that's work for you!

So, before I close out here, I'd like to just post a few little updates.

First of all, I'm still NOT leaving, that would be silly of me. I'm just hanging up the product development stuff. It was fun, but it's time consuming and it's taking away from my potential in more "interesting" projects.

Seconly, I fixed all of those pesky bugs on the PPS system, so everyone who is enjoying using the old Blitzkrieg strategy on my email box, you can go back in now, it's fixed. :P

Finally, I think the next time I post I blog, it might feature a little "game" project I have up my sleeves, and it'll be with that Galactic 2D thingy I've been talking about.

Either way, it's been a blast working with everyone here, until next time!

Finally a documentation that covers also the coding side of Torque.
I had a quick look into it so far, but looks promising.

Thanks for all the support so far guys, this was a really fun project to undertake and to work on.

@James: Most people can reach my emails just fine, you might want to check your account settings, but for most cases I take emails regarding PGD in general to (phantom139@phantomdev.net) and support questions at (support@phantomdev.net). If neither of those two work, then I'd try my forums for help (http://forums.phantomdev.net/).

Robert@ I'd like to get access to everything you've released, if the bundle is still available. I sent you an email as well :)

Robert,
Both email addresses (phantom139@phantomdev.net AND support@phantomdev.net)
return the following error:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
support@phantomdev.net

I managed to reset my password for the forums but apparently this is NOT the same credentials for the products page - most confusing and unecessary/

Thanks in advance

@Jeff: Responded to your email, if you have any other questions. Ask away!

@James: Oh, so that's the error. Yeah, that's on my end. I'll look into it, for the time being just fire me a PM on my forums. I'll look into the problem and see if I can fix it for you.

"but it's time consuming and it's taking away from my potential in more "interesting" projects."

absolutely.Specially when u dont have any funding.
It is almost 6 years since i started with torque 3d.
but still i dont have a full project or addon in my bag.
Almost 20/25 projects of 120 gb based on t3d are in my hdd. All unfinished.
Want to delete them but so many time i have spend that I just cant do that.
So that part is now kind of a museum.waiting for a hdd crash.

Each time i got a new idea and concept,i just left everything behind and stated to work on that idea.
The main part that is crucial on digital is "Finishing up and optimizing for end user"

Congratulations on another finished product.

@Andy: I wrote an update regarding downloading zips from my site using IE on my forums, as well as how to get around the issue while a fix is investigated (http://forums.phantomdev.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&p=1138&sid=da3686f383469b72bb0e0982e1fc7f2a#p1138).

Try those and see if it works.
