First attemp to make a character with Blender

I created this character for the game Operation Moon. .....
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is my first try to animate and export to Torque a model with Blender.

I created the mesh of this model with Sculptris and painted the texture also with Sculptris. Then I import the obj file to Blender. There i made the armature and bones and auto rig it. The next step was to make the animations and export all together as DAE file.

Now I open the engine and just import the DAE file. As next i had to make every animation in the model editor of torque.

Here a little movie of the model.
The first model you see is the prototype, rigged to an old skeleton I had. this way I could save a lot time about is no need to make the animations. But at least I was thinking to make more details like eye blinking and such, so I start to learn in short steps how to rig and animate in Blender. 4 days later I just had a new model, and I be very happy how easy it is to work with Blender.

Thanks for read :)

That is all kinds of awesome! If you learn to do that in blender in a few days maybe I need to take some time out and learn it.
What did you use to auto rig the model?

@ Kory:

Parenting function in menu, then you see auto rig function with auto vertex wights. you also can bind bones to the mesh you selected.

Or search you tube for tutorials, this was what i did. Some of the tutorials are really very helpfully to understand Blender.

D,

NICE.... I like that you made it in Sculptris and Blender! (free tools that anyone can download and learn). This is really great stuff. Keep it up! Perhaps a little 'tutorial' is in order to show HOW you did it? Just a thought.
