Eh just took a look at the different horror packs and they are all provided as fbx or maya format...
T3D doesn't support fbx currently, we use collada. I suggest you make collada versions available aswell or else you are really singing for the wrong audience :)

Thanks for the heads up, I am looking into this today, to see what it would entail to do the conversions of the art to the Collada format. And from there I will update the products on my site to include this format.

Take care

They are available in .obj though, and converting to .dae with something like Blender is a snap. Still, having them available in .dae would be preferable.

Just a quick update, I am in the process now of updating the packs, starting with the Severed Heads pack. Will come with FBX, DAE, OBJ. I will update the blog post and the site once this is done! Thanks again.

@Steve - I'm experiencing extremely slow data transfer on your site. I tried to download the gazebo pack to test it out in the engine but after 20 minutes the download stopped and I get the error:

/gazebo_free.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged

I'm using WinRar.

Hello Dan;

I just downloaded the file and the speed was quite fast, also the file extracted no problems (network congestion maybe) I am using unarchiver for OSX. That package has not been converted to include DAE just yet, but will next as I just finished converting the Severed Heads pack and in the process of uploading that now before the gazebo pack is converted next...... I will post here to let you know when you can try again with the new formats. Thanks.

Thanks Steve. I have no problem converting it myself. Just wanted to have a look at the art in T3D. But if you're planning to convert it anyway, I may as well wait and save myself the 3 minutes it'd take to convert it. :D

No worries Dan, to be honest DAE is a file format widely overlooked even though it is one of the industry standards, and supported by most indie & main stream engines. It should of been included with my packs from day one, and will be included moving forward.

The Gazebo pack with the additional file formats is now available for download and so is the new version of the Severed Heads horror pack.

Over the next few days I will be processing the rest of my art packs to have these formats.

Take care & I hope you can get some use out of my free Gazebo Pack
