General Update for the state of things...

I figured after 9 years I really should say something new :)
So here goes...
Still banging my head at this thing. Never stopped but did get sidetracked a few times.
Did some testing of ideas in a few of the many emulators out there. Had some fun, but
was nothing more then a quick way to test some ideas. Dropped all that now and hard
at making my own again.
After this long, I have no fear about getting a game together. The hard part is going
to be making money off it enough to be able to improve it and make others. So I'm diving
in headfirst... And did I ever LoL. First thing I did was to create a Company (Limited
by shares), UK Ltd basically. Great Idea, then you have to start dealing with the paperwork!
Licenses:
Be forewarned, A Ltd / LLC / PLC == An Actual "Entity". We all know (or should understand
this already), but what happens is both funny/sad/frustrating. Your T3D license is yours,
NOT the new entity, EVEN if your original work was run as a Sole-Proprietor. This can be worked
out around in many ways. The easiest way is to just purchase new ones
by the new Company. Will save you headaches and paperwork down the road.
This is just the facts of life, just be prepared for this. So once you create a
business, most of your licenses should be bought again by the new "Entity".
Now some licensor's (not the best spelling), may actually allow you to transfer
(not assign) the original license. All you can do is ask nicely :)
It does work with some.
In the end all the work to create the company will be worth it, just don't expect a completely
easy ride. You're gonna have to do some proper work to do it right.
So that's where I am at now. Dealing with paperwork, altho I would rather be programming.
That will continue soon enough though. As to the state of game development. The original
goal of basically an MMORPG is on hold. Will need more resources to do one of those the
way I want to do it. So the next best thing is to start out smaller. Prove the concept
first, then expand on that.
We will be testing a Different kind of FPS. Take a step beyond the basic, 12-24 player maps
that last a set period. A 200+ player Map. From there we have all sorts of ways to go. I
don't want to go into too much detail yet, I want it actually running Alpha before I do that.
There we go, feel a bit better, more relaxed. The Company is now called: EveronWorlds Ltd.
Still own all the domains, but "EveronWorlds Ltd." will own them soon.

Good Luck John, I'm using your tank vehicle resource in my game and it has been a great help.

in the files, the files to download have been updated.
@David Yep. I knew I had to change a few things. Its easy to forget tho that the
software licenses these days are 90% non-transfereable. Almost every Eula out
there has that clause. I'm not complaining nor am I mad about it. It's just
an easy thing to forget about. The assignment is not quite the same as a transfer
also. So down the road I will be buying new licenses for the new "Entity" :)
This boils down to making things less complicated. For example if I need to take
out a loan for the company, with the Software License Assigned, the Company doesnt
actually control the Game, banks would probably not look favorably on that.

@kcpdad Glad to hear it. Did you see the update to it? I had the wrong skeletonin the files, the files to download have been updated.

Not my area of expertise, but I have read halfway through a legal guide to software...not very exciting stuff...

Yea, what's interesting is that a software license is legally more like a rental than an owned asset. The only way you actually own software is if you made it yourself or bought the full rights of ownership. Not my area of expertise, but I have read halfway through a legal guide to software...not very exciting stuff...

programmers to work with you. IF you don't make it clear in the agreement, the
programmers, even tho they are working for you, could still own the copyrights to
any work they do for you. The correct term is "Work For Hire" or something like
that. Basically make sure it is clear in any terms of agreement, that you (or your
company) will own any copyrights of works produced... It can be a real
sticky-wicket :0

Yeah, I know. The really fun part, (did alot of reading -- my head hurts), is hiringprogrammers to work with you. IF you don't make it clear in the agreement, the
