Drains is out!

After close to 2 years of work, we've finally finished Drains, an action platformer made (eventually) with the Torque 3D version 1.1 Beta 1 engine. I'm going to write up a more in depth postmortem regarding this title soon, but I'll give out some of the basics here.
The team was around 8 people at the height of the project, 4 programmers and 4 artists. Most of the time during the development cycle, it remained at around 5 (mostly art). For most people on the team, this was their first shipped 3D game. The game ended up being 12-15 hours long, with around 10 environments of 1-3 acts each. There are over 20 enemies.
For anyone interested, the demo of the game can be found here (you can also buy, heh): www.direct2drive.com/552/10798/product/Buy-Drains-Download
Here's the trailer:
And here are some screen shots:

We would also like to give out a big thank you to anyone who's answered our questions over several accounts regarding the ins and outs of the T3D engine!

Thank guys! I just wrote up on an issue we just encountered after the game's out: www.garagegames.com/community/forums/viewthread/125766 The Windows 7 folder permission issue. Anyone know how to solve this? We didn't even know this existed since we all had our computers set to full permission from the start.

Wow! VERY cool game, very impressed! Curious, are you using arcane fx or anything for the particles or did you roll those all from scratch? Nice work either way!

Yep, we used some AFX, but most of the effects are just timing based from scratch (frame0 of character animation, effect1, frame27, effect 2). One really annoying thing was we had to make all of our effects from the Torque editor (or animated models). If we could've just used the 3D Max effects editor and exported it out...
