Boxing Game with Torque 2D

Today, I decided to work on something else for a change, by producing a character introduction for the boxing game that I'm working on. Its a rough draft and some of the artwork needs replacing with better quality png versions and a lighting change with spot lights.. it's a start.

PS. it has music, so either crank it up or turn your speakers right down :) and some resolutions on monitors make it looked stretched until I can sort out the scale code

I've also not used Torque 2D/TGB for a game project since I bought it (too busy with Torque 3D!), so flash would have been my first preference for a 2D online and multi-player game with SmartFoxServer, but if it is possible I'd like to give it a go on Torque 2D and see if I can get a web plugin for streaming installed, then bolt on api for multiplayer capabilities.
If anyone has developed a multiplayer game with Torque 2D/TGB please let me know what you used to make it work so that I can get a valuable insight into what is required.
More on this project once I start developing it..

Sean. Yes, you're right there. Originally these images were more for the player selection GUI as shown above, by selecting the gloves then displays the character. We're still working on the action shots with the various poses (dodge, block, sucker punch and so on..). Once we have these ready I'll do something a bit more involved like you say to get the adrenaline pumping. Really the initial concepts are to try and attract some sort of funding or sponsorship to see this project through to the end.

Just one suggestion/question, would the shots of the boxers be better presented by using an in-action shot and having the static shots moving across the screen slightly while music is playing? Visual cues that help get the adrenaline pumping for boxing game.... Just a thought.
